Sindhu defeats yet another player from China to progress to Quarterfinals of Malaysia Masters 2022.
After getting better of the Bing Jiao yesterday, Sindhu was up against yet another player from China. Yi Man Zhang, the young upcoming shuttler from China who has shown some good results this season.
Today Sindhu was in complete control of her game and finished the match within half an hour. In the first game she took an early lead and was leading at mid game 11-3 and never looked back from there.
She closed the first game 21-12 with Yi Man never looking like giving any threat to Sindhu.
Second game also went on the expected lines with Sindhu dominating the proceedings and went into the mid game interval at 11-6. After coming back from the break she was ruthless in her approach and gave no chance for a comeback to Yi Man.
Sindhu won the second game 21-10.
In the Quarterfinals Sindhu once again meet Tai Tzu Ying. This is going to be their Twenty Second match. Sindhu currently trails 5-16 on H2H against the Taiwanese.
Last week as well they met in the quarterfinals with TTY succeeding in three game battle, it remains to be seen what happens tomorrow and will Sindhu be able to notch her sixth victory over TTY
