Introduction & Legal Framework

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, processing, and protection of personal and sensitive data across the Indiasportshub website, mobile applications, and associated digital products. This framework is established in strict compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 of India.

Categories of Data Collected

We process the following categories of data to provide our services:

  • Identity & Contact Data: Name, age, email address, and phone numbers.
  • KYC & Verification Data: For athlete onboarding, we utilize third-party authorized gateways (e.g., Digio) for verification. Note: We do not store raw Aadhaar numbers on our servers; we only retain the verification status and masked identifiers in compliance with UIDAI regulations.
  • Biometric & AI Analytics Data: Video submissions and images uploaded for AI performance analytics and somatotype testing.
  • Technical & Usage Data: IP addresses, device identifiers, and platform interaction metrics (including quiz participation).

Special Provisions for Minors & AI Analytics

Indiasportshub recognizes the heightened sensitivity of processing data belonging to minors (individuals under 18 years of age).

  • Verifiable Parental Consent: Under the DPDP Act, 2023, the processing of any minor's data for somatotype testing or AI video analytics strictly requires verifiable, explicit consent from a parent or legal guardian.
  • Ephemeral Processing (Zero-Retention Policy): Pictures and videos uploaded for AI-driven somatotype or performance testing are processed in real-time. Indiasportshub explicitly states that these media files are NOT saved, stored, or retained on our servers after the analytical output is generated. This strict zero-retention policy acts as our primary safeguard against data breach liabilities.
  • No Behavioral Tracking: We do not engage in behavioral monitoring, profiling, or targeted advertising directed at minors.

Third-Party Integrations & Data Processors

We leverage verified third-party data processors to enhance our operational efficiency. By using our platform, users consent to data processing via these partners:

AiSensy (WhatsApp Business API) - Delivery of OTPs, service updates, and marketing communications - Users must explicitly opt-in to marketing messages. Users reserve the right to opt-out or block promotional communications at any time.

Digio (eKYC Partner) - Identity verification of athletes (eKYC)- Digio acts as an authorized KYC intermediary. Indiasportshub disclaims liability for gateway downtimes or external breaches at the processor's end.

User Rights & Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the DPDP Act, 2023, users maintain the right to access, correct, and request the erasure of their personal data. Users may also withdraw consent for specific processing activities (e.g., WhatsApp marketing).
