The struggle of former top ranked Indian on the ATP Circuit continues as Ramkumar Ramanathan who is now forced to ply his trade on the future’s circuit exited in first round itself.

Ramkumar who was in Indonesia to play the set of three futures retired midway when he was lost first set to ATP1134 Kawahashi from Japan

Ramkumar who was seeded fourth in the tournament had also lost in the first round in last week

This thus becomes the Eighth first round exit of the nine tournaments he has played this season, his doubles form has also been not good as he is now down to 143 from a career high of 58

Another Indian in the fray Digvijay also found it tough and lost to Aussie Delaney in three sets and that puts an end to Indian campaign

While in an interesting result Leo Borg defeated the Top seed of the tournament
