The French open Semifinalist Indo-Dutch pair scored a superb win over Top Seeds in Germany
Rohan Bopanna & Middelkoop who not very long ago made the whole nation take notice while they scored some fabulous victories during the French Open were back in the Clay court.
The fourth seed pair has shown some great form during the season and in the semifinal they made a great comeback from behind against the ATP3 Zeballos & ATP4 Granollers.
The Indo-Dutch pair lost the first set 3-6 after losing the first serve but did make a comeback in the second set breaking their opponents serve couple of times to take the match into the Super Tie-Breaker.
In the Super Tie-breaker the Ind0-Dutch pair took advantage from the start and ensured no hiccups as they closed the match 3-6,6-3, 10-3
Just like Bopanna & Middelkoop Zeballos & Grannollers had lost the Roland Garros Semifinals but were coming into this tournament after winning the last tournament in Germany the Halle open ATP500.
Bopanna who will be playing his fourth Final will be looking for his third ATP title for the season after he started the season with bang winning two titles with Ramkumar Ramanathan.
While for his partner Middelkoop also this will be the fourth final of the year and will be looking to win his second ATP500 title this year. Matwe has lost two ATP250 finals this year playing with other partners.
The Indian veteran Rohan Bopanna who is now 42 years old and is currently ranked ATP21 in the world can enter the Top15 with a title in Germany and he will surely be confident of achieving that.
The Final Match
They still await to find out the opponents in the final as the other semifinal is slated to take place today. They might meet third seed pair of Puetz & Venus in the Final.
