The countdown has officially begun for Season 4 of the Prime Volleyball League (PVL), which is set to kick off on October 2, 2025, at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad.
The tournament will feature 38 high-octane matches, including the semifinals and final, and will mark Hyderabad’s return as the hub of professional volleyball, with the full backing of the Government of Telangana. Earlier today, the league received a major boost as Telangana Chief Minister Shri Anumula Revanth Reddy, Sports and Youth Services Minister Shri Vakiti Srihari, and senior government officials officially unveiled the Season 4 poster, reaffirming the state’s commitment to supporting the event.
Speaking at the launch, Chief Minister Shri Anumula Revanth Reddy underlined the state’s sporting vision:
“Telangana is a state that embraces sports with immense passion, and we are delighted to welcome the Prime Volleyball League to Hyderabad for its 4th season. Hosting such a tournament not only showcases our world-class sporting infrastructure but also inspires our youth to engage with sports. We extend our full support to the PVL team and look forward to a successful season that celebrates the spirit of volleyball and sports.”
Echoing this sentiment, Sports and Youth Services Minister Shri Vakiti Srihari said:
“We are thrilled to see the dedication of the organisers of Prime Volleyball League and the efforts being taken to provide one of the best sporting events in the city. We are aligned in our vision to ensure that athletes, fans, and the people of Hyderabad experience the very best of volleyball.”
Franchise and League Voices : The announcement was also welcomed by PVL franchise owners. Abhishek Reddy, Principal Owner of Hyderabad Black Hawks, expressed gratitude:
“We are truly grateful to the Government of Telangana for their unwavering support in bringing PVL Season 4 to Hyderabad. It reflects the government’s strong push to attract elite-level sporting events to the state.”
Yashwanth Biyyala, Co-Owner of Bengaluru Torpedoes, added:

What’s New in Season 4
Season 4 of PVL will feature 10 franchises, with the addition of a new team the Goa Guardians. The league’s expansion reflects its growing popularity and commitment to spreading volleyball’s reach across India. All 38 matches will be hosted at Hyderabad’s Gachibowli Indoor Stadium, ensuring fans a front-row seat to the best of Indian and international volleyball.
