Pool B

As hosts, India will enter the tournament with confidence, buoyed by recent successes at the Asian level and a growing domestic base of young talent. Pool B gives them a realistic pathway to the semifinals, but both Brazil and Switzerland are capable of challenging the home team.

A strong opening match against Switzerland will be crucial. The Brazil clash, scheduled for December 11, could well decide the Pool B standings.
