Haryana Thunders sent out the clearest message of the Pro Wrestling League 2026 season so far, producing a ruthless and record-breaking performance to dismantle Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals 6–3 at the Noida Indoor Stadium.
The emphatic victory lifted Haryana from third place to the top of the standings, while Mumbai’s difficult campaign continued as they remained without a win.
What made the result even more striking was the manner in which it was achieved. Haryana’s women wrestlers dominated the early part of the card so completely that the tie was effectively decided before Mumbai could find its rhythm. Four straight wins, all by fall or technical superiority, put the Thunders out of reach and turned the contest into a demonstration of depth and tactical clarity.
The tone was set immediately in the 76kg women’s bout, where Kajal Dhochhak overcame a cautious first period to overwhelm Jyoti Berwal. After conceding a passivity point, Kajal shifted gears, forcing errors with a push-out and then finishing the contest decisively with a takedown and exposure that led to a fall. It was a strong statement of intent, showing that Haryana were prepared to be patient before striking with precision.
That early control was amplified moments later in one of the most extraordinary bouts in Pro Wrestling League history. Iryna Koliadenko, the Ukrainian star representing Haryana, took just 28 seconds to destroy Sarika Malik in the 62kg category. With a clean takedown followed by a rapid sequence of turns and exposures, Koliadenko raced to a 16–0 technical superiority, eclipsing the previous fastest-win record set earlier this season by her own captain, Yui Susaki. The speed and violence of the attack left the Mumbai corner stunned and underlined the gulf between the two teams on the night.

The momentum did not slow in the 57kg women’s bout. Neha Sangwan maintained relentless pressure against Pushpa, using repeated takedowns in the opening period and then mixing in exposures in the second to cruise to an 18–3 technical superiority. At that point, Mumbai were already staring at a steep uphill battle.
Haryana captain Yui Susaki, one of the greatest wrestlers of her generation, then delivered a clinic in the 53kg category. Against Jyoti Sihag, Susaki struck early with a takedown, followed it up with back-to-back exposures, and added a passivity point to keep the scoreboard ticking. The fall that followed made it four wins out of four for Haryana’s women, and the tie was effectively settled.
The dominance carried into the men’s half of the card. In the 65kg contest, Tumur Ochir Tulga gave Haryana an unassailable lead with a commanding performance against Rohit Rahal. Tulga’s control was relentless, and when the Power Minute arrived, he produced the decisive moments with successive push-outs and a powerful four-point throw. The final 13–0 technical superiority not only secured his bout but confirmed Haryana’s team victory at the halfway mark.
Only then did Mumbai begin to show resistance. Deepak finally put the Tiigers on the board in the 74kg bout, using consistent scoring and positional control to beat Parvinder 10–6. It was a welcome response for a side that had been completely outplayed up to that point.

Haryana quickly reasserted control in the heavyweight category. Anirudh Gulia edged past Oleksandr Khotsianivskyi in a tight tactical battle, where activity points and a late takedown proved decisive in a 3–2 victory. It was not a spectacular bout, but it demonstrated Haryana’s ability to manage close contests as effectively as dominant ones.
Mumbai’s brightest moment of the night came in the 86kg class, where Mukul Dahiya produced a superb display against Sachin. Attacking with intent from the opening whistle, Dahiya powered his way to a 13–0 shutout, earning him the Fighter of the Match award and giving the Tiigers something to take away from an otherwise bruising evening.
Captain Aman Sehrawat ensured Mumbai finished on a high by closing the card with a 13–4 win over Ankush Chandram. Leading from the front, Sehrawat combined aggression with tactical awareness to deliver a captain’s performance, even if it came too late to alter the outcome.
For Haryana Thunders, the night belonged to their women’s unit and their inspirational leader. Yui Susaki was deservedly named Player of the Match, not just for her own flawless bout but for setting the standard that her teammates followed.
With this comprehensive victory, Haryana have not only climbed to the top of the PWL 2026 table but have also established themselves as the team to beat. Their blend of technical excellence, physical dominance and composure under pressure makes them formidable contenders as the league moves into its decisive phase.
