The event which was earlier hosted by Goa now shifts bases to Chennai as they host WTT Star Contender 2025
The event is set to be a highlight of the season for Indian Table Tennis players as the prize money of USD 275,000 event is set to be hosted by Chennai at the Jawaharlal Nehru indoor stadium.
The qualifying rounds will be held on 25 and 26 march with the main rounds starting from 27 March.
The previous two editions of WTT Star Contender were held in Goa and were a massive success.
India will be hosting the Youth Contender Vadodara in February.
At the last major Table Tennis event held in India, the WTT Star Contender 2024 in Goa saw 🇫🇷 Lebarun win the Men Single title. While South Koreans swept all the doubles titles.
