Second Seed and Top Ranked Indian tennis player Ankita Raina has also made it to the Doubles Semifinal.
Ankita Raina who has been struggling for form this year with Seven First round exits has made it to her second semifinal of the year.
Ankita defeated Punnin from 🇹🇭 in a tight three setter. After losing the first set 4-6 Ankita came back strongly in the second set to win it 6-2.
In the decider she won the set 6-3 to clinch victory. Earlier her opponent Sofia retired midway of the match due to injury. Sofia who is JWR3 was the finalist last week.

Sahaja Yamalapalli who had earlier scored two very impressive victories this week, defeated higher ranked Japanese Imamura.
Losing the first set in tiebreaker 6-7 Shaja bageled Imamura in second set.
Decider saw Sahaja in full control closing the match 6-7,6-0,6-3.
In the Semifinal Sahaja who is the only unseeded player left in the draw will be up against Ekaterina Yashina 🇷🇺 the seed four.
While Ankita will be up against the third seed Viktoria Morvayova from 🇸🇰
