In a significant endorsement of its growing technical ecosystem, the All India Football Federation (AIFF) has been awarded the prestigious Triple-A Certificate by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
The recognition, announced at the AFC Technical Summit on March 19, 2026, highlights the progress India has made in building a structured and modern football development framework.
The certification is part of the AFC’s Triple-A framework Analysis, Advice, and Accreditation a comprehensive evaluation mechanism designed to assess and enhance the technical capabilities of Member Associations. India was among just 12 AFC nations shortlisted for this rigorous process, underlining the importance of the achievement within the continental football landscape.
