The star pairing of Abhishek Verma & Jyothi Surekha Vennam have entered the finals at the mixed team event in Archery World Cup Stage III

In the Semifinal they got better of Jaatma siblings pair who had a sub par second round of 36 which made all the difference as eventually the score read at 156 to 151 in Indian team’s favour.

The second Semifinal was won by France which went to the wire. French winning it in the tie breaker

Indian mix team of Abhishek and Avneet had won the Bronze Medal at the last world cup in South Korea with Chinese Taipei winning the Gold defeating Estonian pair of siblings Jaatma

Earlier Indian team had defeated El Salvador in a pretty close match 155 each decided in the tie breaker.

In the PreQuarterfinals Indian team had the advantage since the beginning and closed the match against Puerto Rico 158-150

In the Mixed Recurved Competition Indian team lost in the first match itself against Kazakhstan
