East Bengal FC delivered one of the most resilient performances of the Indian Super League 2025-26 season, coming from behind three times to secure a dramatic 3-3 draw against Bengaluru FC at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan on April 16.
Reduced to ten men in the first half, the Red and Gold Brigade defied the odds with a display built on tactical discipline, mental resilience, and clinical finishing in key moments. The result sees both teams level on 15 points, with East Bengal placed third on goal difference from eight matches, while Bengaluru FC sit fourth, having played a game more. Saúl Crespo, who played a pivotal role in midfield, was deservedly named Player of the Match.
Fast Start and Early Breakthrough
