In a league that thrives on spectacle as much as sporting excellence, the Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals have taken a decisive step towards shaping their identity by unveiling their official team anthem for Pro Wrestling League (PWL) 2.0.
Rooted in Mumbai’s contemporary rap culture and layered with traditional regional sounds, the anthem is more than a musical release it is a statement of intent from a franchise looking to build a long-term connection with its city, its supporters, and its athletes.
Fronted by India’s youngest Olympic medallist and team captain Aman Sehrawat, the anthem’s music video also features breakout stars Mukul Dahiya and Jyoti Sihag, weaving together footage from league matches, training sessions, and street-level scenes from Mumbai. It captures a growing movement around the Tiigers, one that is increasingly visible inside the Noida Indoor Stadium, where their distinctive scarves have become a common sight and their chants are beginning to ripple across the stands.
For a team playing its debut season in PWL, the timing of the anthem is significant. The Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals, co-owned by Aspect Sports and Apco Infratech, have already made a strong competitive impression. On the mat, Jyoti Sihag delivered one of the early shocks of the season by defeating Olympic silver medallist Yusneylys Guzmán Lopez, a result that instantly placed the young Indian wrestler in the spotlight.
Mukul Dahiya, meanwhile, has emerged as one of the most aggressive and exciting competitors in the league, producing high-scoring bouts that have energised fans. Leading them all is Aman Sehrawat, who opened his campaign with a dominant 16–1 technical superiority victory in under four minutes, reinforcing his status as one of the faces of Indian wrestling.
That competitive momentum feeds directly into the tone of the anthem. The track combines heavy basslines and sharp rap verses with the thunder of traditional percussion and the piercing call of the tutari, creating a soundscape that mirrors the raw intensity of a wrestling bout. It is unmistakably urban, yet deeply connected to India’s sporting heritage much like the team itself.

Aksha Kamboj, Executive Chairperson of the Aspect Group and Co-Owner of the Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals, described the anthem as a reflection of the franchise’s philosophy. “This anthem brings together everything Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals stand for. It carries the sound of the city, the strength of the sport, and the belief that progress comes from staying committed to the journey. Mumbai thrives on resilience, and this anthem reflects a team that’s focused on growing, learning, and moving forward together,” she said.

The visual narrative of the anthem is equally deliberate. Alongside match footage and training clips, the video features Aman Sehrawat visiting akhadas across Mumbai, grounding the league’s glitz in the sport’s grassroots reality. The repeated appearance of the Tiigers’ scarves now waved proudly by fans in the stands serves as a powerful visual link between those mud-soaked training grounds and the bright lights of PWL 2.0. It underlines how a fan culture is beginning to take root around the franchise, driven not just by results but by a shared identity.
For Sehrawat, the anthem is another layer in the team’s evolving journey. “Hearing the anthem around the team environment adds energy and focus. As wrestlers, you go through phases, and what matters is staying together and staying hungry. This group believes in the work we’re putting in, and moments like this remind us why we’re here. We’ll keep building, keep learning, and look to bring our best every time we step onto the mat,” he said.
The lyrics of the anthem steer away from individual glory, instead centring on collective belief, resilience, and the grind that defines both Mumbai and wrestling. References to red soil, discipline, and rising after setbacks run through the track, aligning closely with how the Tiigers have approached their maiden PWL campaign. It is less about celebrating what has already been achieved and more about reinforcing the mindset required to keep pushing forward.
In many ways, the anthem represents what PWL 2.0 is striving to be a league where sport, culture, and community intersect. As the Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals continue to build their presence on the mat, their growing footprint in the stands suggests that the connection with fans is taking shape just as strongly. Scarves, chants, and now an anthem rooted in the pulse of Mumbai have given supporters something tangible to rally around.

As the season unfolds, the Tiigers’ anthem is set to become a fixture of the matchday atmosphere, echoing through the arena as both a rallying cry and a reminder of where this team draws its strength from the rhythm of the city and the relentless demands of the mat.
