The Tennis Premier League (TPL), powered by Clear Premium Water, is set to return for its seventh season with a major boost Sony Sports Network will broadcast the event live across India.
The 2025 season promises to be the most competitive in the league’s history, featuring several Top 50-ranked international players alongside India’s top tennis talent. The league will be aired live on Sony Sports Ten 5 and Sony Sports Ten 5 HD channels from December 9 to 14, 2025, bringing the action from the Gujarat University Tennis Stadium in Ahmedabad to fans nationwide. The TPL’s signature 25-point format, designed for fast-paced and high-intensity play, will once again offer a distinctive tennis experience that combines sport and entertainment.
Top 50 International Stars Join Indian League
For the first time, the TPL will feature multiple players ranked inside the world’s Top 50 a landmark moment for Indian tennis leagues. Among the standout names confirmed for Season 7 are Luciano Darderi (World No. 26), Arthur Rinderknech (World No. 28), Corentin Moutet (World No. 31), Alexandre Muller (World No. 43), and Damir Džumhur (World No. 58).

Adding to the excitement, Rohan Bopanna, former doubles World No. 1 and two-time Grand Slam champion, will headline the Indian contingent alongside Sahaja Yamalapalli, India’s current No. 1 female tennis player. Their presence reinforces the league’s stature as a platform that merges elite Indian and international talent in a competitive environment.

Now entering its seventh season, the Tennis Premier League stands among the four longest-running professional sports leagues in India, underlining its sustained impact on popularizing tennis.
This year’s edition will feature eight franchise teams:
- Rajasthan Rangers
- Gurgaon Grand Slammers
- Gujarat Panthers
- Hyderabad Strikers
- GS Delhi Aces
- Yash Mumbai Eagles
- Chennai Smashers
- SG Pipers Bengaluru
These teams will battle it out over six action-packed days, combining singles, doubles, and mixed doubles formats to create a dynamic viewing experience.
