In Women’s Singles
The biggest hope in women’s singles, PV Sindhu got a perfect draw to register another S500 title to her name. She is up against Thuy Nguyen in the first round.
India’s second top-ranked WS, Malvika Bansod, withdrew from the main draws.
Indian fans eyes are also on some rising stars in WS, like Rakshitha Ramraj, Isharani Baruah, and Tanya Hemanth.
Rakshitha got a tough draw where she will be up against Tomoka Miyazaki in R32 of the tournament.

Men’s Singles
Looking at the recent India Open, where MS completely disappoints except for Kiran George’s brilliant run to the quarterfinals, this tournament is important for them.
Lakshya will desperately want to regain his form after consecutive first-round exits this year from the Malaysia Open and India Open.
He will be up against Takuma Obayashi in the first round of the tournament.

Women’s Doubles
As India’s top-ranked and recently entered in top 10 pair, Treesa Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand are not playing in this tournament, all eyes are now on the pair of Tanisha Crasto and Ashwini Ponnappa.
