Ayhika, Sutirtha, Diya, Poymantee placed in qualifications were expected to be impressive but Diya Chitale was the only player who made it to the main draws.

Sutirtha went down to lower ranked Yang Ha Eun without fighting much. Ayhika’s disappointing performance in singles continues as she handed on a defeat by another indian Diya Chitale.

In main draws Diya lost to Portuguese Jieni Shao(WR53) by a narrow margin with 2 to 3 games.

Jieni now faces 12th seed Sreeja Akula for a pre-quarterfinals spot. Another indian star paddler at WTT star contender Manika Batra will be starting her singles campaign against WR42 Britt Eerland .

Mens doubles results are encouraging as India eyeing on two Semifinals spot !
Sharath/Snehit after defeating wild cards from Qatar(3-1 games) are set to face no.1 seed Matsushima/Harimoto.

Seeded third Manav/Manush pair got better of qualifiers Rawad/Ahmed and will be facing another qualifying pair Kwan/Lam in quarter final.

Women’s doubles was disappointing for India. Seeded no.1 in qualifiers Diya/Sreeja lost to Korean Yoon Hyobin/Kim seoyun ,where as asian bronze medalist

Ayhika/Sutirtha went down to asian silver winners Miyuu Kihara/Miwa Harimoto pair (3-11, 6-11, 11-4, 6-11) hence failed to repeat their Semifinals glory last edition.

With this India’s Women doubles camping comes to an end.

Manika/Manav after entering into main draws failed to deliver further as they lost to wild cards Chinese Yuangyu/Yi (0 – 3 Games).

4th seed Diya/Manush stromed into quarter finals coming victorious against Ng/Yiu of HongKong in 3-1 games, they will be up against Sora Matsushima/ Miwa Harimoto for a semifinal berth.

Three quarter final spot sealed by India is an encouraging feat, however some disappointing performance followed on.

Today is a crucial day for Singles paddlers.
