Ramkumar & Saketh Win ATP Challenger 100 event in Seoul, South Korea

This is Ramkumar and Saketh’s fourth Challenger title, first outside India

The All-Indian pair of Ramkumar Ramanathan and Saketh Myneni got better of American-Dutch pair in the Final of ATP CH100 event in South Korea.

Ramkumar and Saketh won against Vasil 🇺🇸 and Stevens 🇳🇱 6-4,4-6,10-3

The all-Indian pair didn’t drop even a single set through to the final. This was Saketh’s second tournament after his comeback to the court after six months. They had lost in first round in Taiwan last week in straight sets.

This title is Ramkumar’s tenth doubles Challenger Title while for Saketh it’s the nineteenth doubles title.

Together for them its the fourth Challenger title, and the first one outside Indian. They had earlier won Ch100 events in Chennai and Bengaluru and one in Bengaluru in 2022.

They had lost Indian pair is all set to play all-indian pair of Niki-Anirudh at Matsuyama Challenger in Japan 🇯🇵 starting next week.

With this win Ramkumar is expected to reenter Top125 while his career high being 58 and Saketh will be close to Top200 as his career high being 74.

India currently has seven players in the Top100 of ATP Doubles rankings.

Ramkumar while in singles competition though lost in straight sets to a relatively unknown player, Uesugi who came in from qualifying 4-6,4-6.

Uesugi then went on to lose in straight sets in next round to French Escoffier.

It will be interesting to see how the Indian pair fares next week and can they march towards the Top100 in the coming weeks.
