The men’s doubles tennis scene in India is experiencing a surge in talent, with several athletes
stepping up their game and making their mark in international tournaments.

A standout achievement came when Arjun Kadhe and Ritvik Bollipalli clinched their maiden ATP Tour title at the ATP 250 Almaty Open.

A victory that significantly boosted their rankings.
Arjun Kadhe is currently ranked 76th, while Ritvik Bollipalli made a significant leap in the
rankings, breaking into the top 100 and securing the 83rd spot.

Their dream run to the title was marked by gruelling matches, nail biting comebacks, and surprising upsets, culminating in a well-deserved victory to claim the coveted prize.

In the first round they defeated the Finnish-Italian duo of Patrik Niklas-Salminen and Marco Bortolotti 6-4, 7-6. In the quarterfinals, they pulled off a stunning upset by defeating the No. 2 seeded French duo of Fabien Reboul and Sadio Doumbia.

This win stands out as a monumental achievement, given the blistering form the French pair has been in this year.

Having reached seven finals and clinching three tournament titles (Open Sud de France ATP 250, Challenger Phoenix, Chengdu Open ATP 250), Reboul and Doumbia have consistently maintained their high rankings, making the victory even more impressive for the Indian pair.

Riding high on confidence and momentum from their quarterfinal triumph, Arjun and Ritvik
carried their form into the semifinals, where they dispatched the German duo in straight sets
7-6, 6-3.

In the finals, Arjun and Ritvik showcased remarkable grit and composure, fending off five
match points against Skander Mansouri/ Nicolas Barrientos.

Their resilience under pressure was key, ultimately sealing a well-deserved victory in a thrilling climax, with a scoreline 3-6,7- 6,14-12. This victory not only underscores their resilience and synergy as a pair but also sets a new standard for new Indian doubles teams, signaling that they have the potential to challenge and upend some of the world’s most formidable partnerships.
