6:00pm | Athletics | TJ as you know him has made his way to the finals as he marked a 2.20m jump which was good enough for him to be the best 12 jumpers. Finals on 3rd August.
5:45pm | Badminton | India mixed team defeated Brazil in the non-qualifiers draw convincingly 3-0 but they are out of medal race.
5:30pm | Athletics | Wow in the 100m dash for women Avantika clocked 11.63 to make her way to semis as she finished 2nd in her heat. Sudeshna was fourth in her heat with 12.02s.
5:00pm | Athletics | In the men 1500m Arjun missed the Finals by 0.19 sec as he completed the race in 3:48.49 while Yoonus did it in 3:54.70
4:30pm | Athletics | Triple Jump men Vishank had three fouls and Robinson came up with a best jump of 15.31m which was not good enough for making the finals
4:00pm | Athletics | In the 400m Hurdles women Dhivya did well just enough to make it to Semis, in first heat she finished fourth with a time of 1:00.51. Nidhi clocked 1:02.63 and fails to make Semis.
3:50pm | Athletics | And that’s the end of her competition as she fouls in third attempt.
3:45pm | Athletics | Not looking good at the moment for India in Athletics as Shiksha who made the finals has been able to throw 14.48m in second attempt with leader over 16m at the moment.
Gold No11 for India
2:55pm | Shooting | Its an Indian 1-2 in the 50m Rifle 3Position final…. Who would have thought that. Its a reality
2:45pm | Shooting | Fabulous shooting by Sift and Ashi as they took control of things in the standing position
2:30pm | Shooting | And we are back, its the final of 50m Rifle. Wang is leading the chart currently with Indians having a close eye.
11:00am | Taekwondo | Shweta has lost to Mongolian Uchral in the rd of 16 of 49kg category.
10:30am | Tennis | Its a good victory for Sravya as she defeated Italian Benedetta 6-2,6-1 to make it. Tough challenge in front of her as she will be up against second seed EnShou from Tpe in 3rd round.
Gold Medal No.10 for India
9:35am | Shooting | Its a mighty impressive performance from the women team in the 50m Rifle 3 Position as Ashi, Manini & Sift have scored 3527 to win Gold Medal in team. Important to note that all three have made it to the Finals.
9:20am | Shooting | Pretty disappointing from Varun as he crashed out of the final of 10m Air Pistol with a flurry of sub 10 scores, he was the second to exit.
9:00am | Taekwondo | Manjeet lost to Szymon in the Men 80kg round of 32
8:45am | Swimming | In the women 4*400 relay India was placed 11th with a time of 4:17.42 of 12 teams.
8:35am | Swimming | B Beniston 25.35 was placed 32nd Subhrant 26.51 was placed 40th in Men 50m Butterfly and hence dont make the Semis
8:30am | Athletics | In the 100m dash much was expected of Amlan but he came third in his heat with a time of 10.64 missing the semis by 0.01 sec of second place. So a pretty average morning session for Indians in the Athletics arena.
8:15am | Swimming | Both the India swimmers in 200m Backstroke have failed to make any mark and finished 23 & 24. Shrungi 2:28.25 & Pratyasa 2:29.69
8:10am | Badminton | on expected lines Indian mixed team has won two matches against Swiss and leading in the women singles.
8:05am | Athletics | 100m Men Lalu clocked a 10.77 to come up 4th in his heat and will now wait to see if he makes the semis, only two fastest are auto qualifiers.
7:55am | Swimming | 100m Breaststroke Dhanush topped his heat with a time of 1:03.39 , he was 27th among all participants.
7:52am | Swimming | 100m Breaststroke Kalp came on top in his heat with a time of 1:08.37 but this is the heat1 and possibly the slowest.
7:50am | Shooting | Varun Tomar has qualified for 10m Air Pistol Final, India has won Team bronze with a 1730-57x
7:45am | Shooting | 50m Rifle 3P all three Indian shooters have come with a 398 in Prone which has taken them to 4th, 7th & 9th currently, all onto the standing position now. Will we see all making the finals and grabbing the team gold, time will tell.
7:35am | Athletics | long jump women & Bhavani has jumped 6.12m while Manisha has 5.81m both as of now look set to make the finals
7:34am | Athletics | Teerthesh finished 5th in his heat with a time of 49.01, he was 28th overall and will not make the semis.
7:31am | Swimming | Shrungi 5:23.31 was second & Firdoush 5:33.21 was third in 400m ind medley and unlikely they will see finals.
7:30am | Shooting | 50m Rifle 3P Sift & Ashi with great scores on Prone as Ashi with 790 -53x is at 5th & Sift with 790-46x is at 6th. Manini with 619-34x is at 10th place at the moment.
7:28am | Shooting | 10m Air Pistol Varun 553 is at 2nd place Arjun 509 is at 10th. Anmol with a 420 is at 16th currently.
7:25am | Swimming | Srihari has made it to the Semifinals with a time of 55.24 which was overall at 12th place in 38 competitors.
7:20am | Athletics | Nitin came up 6th in his heat with a time of 48.31, unlikely he will make it to semis.
7:18am | Swimming | Srihari clocked 55.24 in 100m Backstroke, possibly he will make the semis.
7:16am | Shooting | 50m Rifle 3P Sift 541 is at 6th place, Ashi 511 is on 7th. Manini with 390 finds her at 14th currently.
7:15am | Shooting | 10m Air Pistol Varun 447 is at 3rd currently Arjun with 441 is 12th while Anmol 354 is 14th.
7:13am | Shooting | All three Indian shooters fail to make the finals of 25m Pistol as Manu 573-16x, Abhidnya 572-10x & Chinki 566-14x were placed 9th, 11th & 18th. They also missed the Team medal.
7:02am | Athletics | In the Shot-Put women Nidhi came up with a best throw of 13.4 while Shiksha with a 14.44 which was good enough for a place in final in the evening.
7:00am | Taekwondo | Japnam lost to Algerian Miloudi in the round of 32 of 58kg category.

6:58am | Swimming | 50m Butterfly heat2 Uttara 30.07 was 5th while Shristi 30.19 was 6th both will not make the Semis
6:56am | Shooting | 25m Pistol Manu & Chinki shot a 96 in round2 while Abhidnya came up with 94. Manu at 9th Abhidnya at 12th

6:53am | Swimming | Kushagra cross the 400m finish line in 3:58.82 to be places 7th in his heat, which is not good enough to take him to Finals. He finished 19th overall
6:50am | Shooting | In the 50m Rifle 3Position Ashi 246 Sift 274 and Manin 166 are at 7th, 12th & 17th position currently
6:45am | Shooting | Going great currently for 10m Air Pistol Men as Varun 157 & Arjun 156 find themselves at 3 & 4th respectively.
6:40am | Athletics | Rashdeep has clocked a 56.52s in her heat and now waits to see if she can make as fastest non-qualifier as she finished 5th in her heat with only top 3 to qualify for semis
6:40am | Shooting | Not looking very good for the 25m Pistol women as all shoot a 95 in the first series of Rapid and find themselves at 12, 14 & 22 currently.
6:35am | Swimming | Aneesh clocks a 4:02.36 in 400m freestyle to be at 6th in his heat. He finished 28th overall.
6:34am | Athletics | Neha clocks a 59.35s on a 400m stretch which fetches her a 7th place in heat1, out of reckoning.
