Young and promising Karan Singh reached his career first QF at SriLanka Futures
Amidst the political scenario in SriLanka a bunch of young Indians made it to Island nation to play the futures event in a bid to make some important ATP points
Not often do you get to play tournaments in the Indian subcontinent and the Indians were not going to give it a miss
There were as many as 18 Indians in the draw of 32 and six of them have made it to the Quarterfinals with two matches in separate brackets ensuring atleast two Indians making the Semifinal
The other two Indians in the Quarterfinals will be up against the Top two seeds of the tournament
All the four top seeds have made it to the Quarterfinals and it remains to be seen if any one can challenge the seeds from making the Semifinal
Karan Singh who just turned 19 last month is the bright spot in the draw was coming to this event after playing 9 weeks in Tunisia. The level of confidence does show in his game
Not at my destination yet, so match by match
