National games 2025 of India will take place in Dehradun, Uttarakhand from 28th January to 14th February.
This edition will be the first ever green edition offering podium made up of e- waste and focus on energy conservation with a plastic free environment.
Table Tennis has been an integral part of National games since it’s early editions.
This time Multi Purpose Hall, Parade Ground will hold the Table Tennis actions starting from 9th to 13th of February.
Out of total 10,000+ athletes 81 paddlers will be representing 12 different states and Union Territories.
Registered States –
West Bengal fielded a strong 13 members squad consists 7 men and 6 women paddlers.
Maharashtra, TamilNadu, Delhi and Uttarakhand come behind with 10 paddlers each.
Gujarat, Karnataka, Haryana, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh has 5 representatives ,where as Assam will be entering with only 3 paddlers who will compete in Men’s singles, doubles and Team event.
Kerala is at the bottom in terms of representatives i.e only one Women’s doubles pair.
Delhi (Shivjit, Aadarsh, Shubh, Yashansh & Sudhanshu) the defending champions in Men’s Team event will compete against Assam, Maharashtra, TamilNadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and last edition defeated finalists West Bengal for the repeat glory.
In Women’s team event Gujarat, Karnataka, Haryana, Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, Uttarakhand, Delhi, West Bengal will fight to top the podium.
Maharashtra (Anannya, Shruti, Swastika, Reeth and Diya) are the defending champion who defeated Haryana (3-1) last time.
BIG GUNS –
Some of well-known and established paddlers will be seen hitting the ping pong, bringing international experience to the national stages. Reeth, Diya Chitale, Swastika Ghosh will be competing . Delhi is dependent on Payas Jain , whereas TamilNadu will showcase the power of Sathiyan Gnanasekaran

TT hub West Bengal has some top notch international talents namely; Anirban Ghosh, Poymantee Baisya, Mouma Das, Ayhika Mukherjee and Sutirtha Mukherjee.
Newcomers will definitely take inspiration from their role models to do well in future.
Anirban Ghosh is the defending Men’s singles champion, this time expected to challenged by Sathiyan and Payas Jain.
Archana Kamath the last edition podium topper has taken retirement leaving the spot wide open.
The contenders are Diya Chitale, Ayhika Mukherjee, Sutirtha Mukherjee, Poymantee Baisya.
However Mouma Das the 2018 commonwealth games Gold medalist in team event will look forward to rediscover her lost ground.
Also Reeth Tennison will be the underdog this time.
Indian Table Tennis fans are hoping to see few new names on the list who will take forward the legacy of a rising TT nation.
