World Number 98 Sumit Nagal would be up against a Wildcard Alexander Klintcharov from New Zealand (WR 792) in the 1st Qualifier of the ASB Classic ( ATP Auckland 250).

This highly anticipated match will be held on hardcourts. Sumit Nagal previously competed in Canberra Challenger and eventually lost to WR 211 Patrick Kypson in 3 sets.

Kypson, who had made into the main draw via the qualifying rounds ended up losing to Quinn after having a match point opportunity.

Now, Sumit is looking to get his 1st win in 2025!! Meanwhile, we can’t underestimate Klintcharov who is playing in-front of his home crowd.
