4:29pm | Athletics | Anuj {PB 79.04} could manage only 66.87m in his three attempts while Vikrant {81.82} has so far managed 69.71 and managed to stay within top8 for another three throws.
4:24pm | Athletics | India couldn’t pass the baton from second to third in fact there was a bad fall.
4:20pm | Athletics | Time for 4×100 Final Women , India with Pratyusha, Bhavani, Sudeshna & Avantika. No Jyothi still.
4:15pm | Athletics | Vikrant comes up with a 65.49m to be placed 7th at the moment, remember only top8 get last three chances.
3:55pm | Athletics | Anuj has improved to 63.68 but unless he makes a good third attempt its going to be end of the road for him. He is currently at 10th
3:45pm | Athletics | Javelin Men Final and Anuj starts of with a 60.96m which is way off his personal best. Vikrant Malik with a 69.01 to start of and takes up the 5th place for now. 1 – 75.04, 2 – 74.29, 3- 71.20
9:00am | Badminton | Meiraba the only hope left for India lost to Panitchapon in three games. 21-16, 14-21, 16-21 hence no Medals for India in Badminton
8:00am | Fencing | Men Epee team India lost to Norway 29-43 while India Women Foil team lost to Hkg 14-45
7:15am | Swimming | Nothing new to update here as yet again the women swimmers disappoint. Arati with a 28.89 was 34th overall while Jyoti with 29.08 was 35th in the 50m Freestyle race.
7:10am | Swimming | 200m Butterfly once again the women swimmers disappointed with both managing last spots in their heats. Kalyani did 2:35.11 for a 20th place while Uttara did 2:41.36 for 21st place.
6:55am | Swimming | Srihari Natraj Qualifies for Semifinals in the 50m Freestyle event as he wins his heat 3 with a time of 23.02 which was good enough to keep him in top16. Veer the other swimmer was 43rd with 24.38
6:40am | Swimming |In the 50m Breaststroke Women both the Indians finished in the bottom. Chahat 34.36 was 26th while Arati 36.31 was 29th.
6:30am | Athletics | Pretty disappointing run by all the marathon runners. Reshma was 19th with 1:18:50. Nirmaben was 22nd with 1:20:52. Rani was 26th with 1:23:20. Poonam was 27th with 1:24:23. In the mens section Arun was 14th with 1:06:56.
