The Tennis Project was kept keeping in mind the Indian Women rankings which had taken a hit recently. No Indian Singles women feature in the World Top 350.

Karman Kaur Thandi who has had a stop start season after an injury layoff was showing signs of getting back to her natural rhythm while playing in Thailand.

Here the Eight seed Indian has reached the Semifinal, was also helped with a relatively comfortable draw by others as she is yet to meet any foreign player and she is set to meet the young Punnin kovapitukted from Thailand.

Today she defeated Vaidehi Chaudhari who looked threatening till now in this tournament before this match. She had even got better Ankita Raina in the round one. That match would have given her so much confidence.

However todays match was all about Karman as she scored a very comfortable victory over compatriot Vaidehi 6-3,6-4 firing four aces in the match.

Karman broke Vaidehi in her first serve and then the third serve of hers to lead 5-1. Vaidehi did break Karman next serve to make it 5-3 but it was too little too late

Second set was more straightforward as Karman broke the very first game and then all serves were held to close it 6-4
