In the Men’s Recurve Individual, West Bengal’s rising star, Juyel Sarkar, showcased exceptional composure and accuracy to claim the gold medal.
His opponent, Indra Chand Indra from the Services Sports Control Board, fought valiantly but fell short, settling for silver.
Meanwhile, veteran archer Tarun Deep Rai from Sikkim proved that experience still counts, clinching the bronze medal with a 6-2 triumph.
In Women’s Recurve Individual, Jharkhand’s Deepika Kumari reaffirmed her status as one of India’s finest archers, effortlessly clinching gold. Bihar’s Anshika Kumari put up a strong fight but had to settle for silver. Komalika Bari, another promising talent from Jharkhand, showcased her resilience, edging out her opponent in a 6-4 battle to secure the bronze medal.
In the Recurve Mixed Team category, Maharashtra’s duo of Shukmani Gajanan Babrekar and Gatha Anandrao Khadake emerged victorious, securing gold with a score of 4(19).
Haryana’s pair of Paras Hooda and Bhajan Kaur fought till the last arrow but had to be content with silver at 4(18).
The bronze medal went to Jharkhand’s dynamic duo, Goldi Mishra and Deepika Kumari, who dominated their final match with a commanding 5-1 win.
In the Recurve Men’s Team, the Jharkhand men’s team, led by Goldi Mishra and backed by Shrey Bhardwaj, Vishnu Choudhary and Gurucharan Besra, clinched gold with a set score of 4(29).
Uttar Pradesh’s quartet of Neeraj Chauhan, Aman Singh Yadav, Rohit Kumar and Mrinal Chauhan put up a tough fight but had to settle for silver with 4(27).
The Services Sports Control Board, featuring Bommadevara Dhiraj, Rahul, Indra Chand Indra and Sukhchain Singh, edged out their opponents in a nail-biting contest, securing bronze with a 4(28) – 4(27) finish.
In the Recurve Women’s Team category, the Maharashtra women’s team, consisting of young archers Gatha Anandrao Khadake, Vaishnavi Babarao Pawar, Sharvari Somnath Shende and Mukta Deepak Modgi, delivered a dominant performance, securing gold.
Jharkhand’s team, led by the experienced Deepika Kumari alongside Komalika Bari, Ankita Bhakat and Tamanna Verma, struggled to match their opponents, finishing with silver.
Haryana’s Bhajan Kaur, Kirti, Avani and Bhavna showcased remarkable teamwork, overcoming their final opponents with a 4(30) – 4(26) score to secure the bronze medal.
