Judo stars Yash, Ishroop and Tulika take gold at 38th National Games

The Judo competition at the 38th National Games saw intense action, with standout performances specially by tulika and across the weight categories.

In the men’s +100kg category, Yash Vijayran from SSCB claimed the gold, with Ritik from Punjab securing the silver. Aditya Parab from Maharashtra earned the bronze, while Yash Ghangas from Haryana rounded out the top contenders.

The women’s -78kg division witnessed a dominant display by Ishroop Narang from Chhattisgarh, who took the gold. Aswathy P R from Kerala finished with the silver, while Reetika Dahiya and Mitlesh Mitlesh, both from Haryana, earned the bronze.

In the +78kg women’s category, Tulika Mann from Delhi emerged as the champion, while Rajwinder Kaur from Punjab secured the silver.

Laishram Roshini from Manipur and Shansa Sarkar from West Bengal completed the podium with the bronze medals.

As the National Games head into its final day tomorrow, the competition has been nothing short of thrilling, showcasing the immense talent and dedication of India’s top athletes.

The Judo events in certain have stood out, with remarkable performances in all weight categories across both men’s and women’s divisions.
