HOCKEY AT NATIONAL GAMES 2025
Vandana Katariya Hockey Stadium, Haridwar will host hockey actions for upcoming 28th National games, Uttrakhand from 4th to 13th February 2025.
Ten teams in both Men’s and women’s category have registered for one of the most popular sports in India.
Hockey will be played under FIH standards in round-robin format, leading to knockout stages.
Teams are drawn in two pools .Each team have to play 4 pool matches and top 2 will qualify for Semifinals.

States like Punjab, Odisha, Haryana and Maharashtra has an impressive record in domestic tournaments, however Haryana was the only state among these two secure a medal in both Men’s and women’s category at 37th national games, Goa.

The National games serves as a platform for scouting and nurturing young talents, often opening the door to national hockey team.
Many legendary figures like Dhyan Chand made their way through domestic competitions.
This time Harmanpreet Singh known as Sarpanch of Indian hockey will be inspiring the youth on field.
