Surprisingly The men’s Freestyle wrestlers haven’t yet opened their account, running into some bad performances coupled with poor luck at the Asian Qualifiers last month. Indian hopes yet again will be on Aman Sehrawat(Men’s 57kg Freestyle), Deepak Punia(Men’s 86 kg Freestyle) & Nisha Dahiya(Women’s 68 kg Freestyle). Freestyle wrestling will be the biggest hope with no hopes from Greco Roman as usual. Since this event provides 3 quotas, 2 quotas will go to the finalists and there will be repechage rounds for deciding the 3rd quota, which is a big relief for wrestlers who might face tough opponents earlier in the opening rounds.
