Indian Men’s Hockey Team defender Jarmanpreet Singh reached a significant career milestone after completing 150 international caps for the national side during India’s third match of the Hobart leg of the FIH Hockey Pro League 2025–26 against Spain in Australia on Tuesday.

The landmark appearance marks another defining chapter in the career of the Punjab-born defender, who has evolved into one of India’s most reliable figures in defence since making his senior international debut in 2018 at the Men’s Hockey Champions Trophy in the Netherlands, where India finished runners-up.

Hailing from Rajdhan village in Amritsar district, Jarmanpreet Singh has consistently featured in India’s backline across multiple Olympic cycles and continental tournaments.
