Here are the Indian national records across multiple disciplines in Athletics Track events

 

100m

Men | Amiya Mallick holds the 100m record with a timing of 10.26 seconds which was set at the Federation Cup in 2016.

Women | Dutee Chand holds the national record with a timing of 11.17 seconds that was achieved at the IGP in 2021.

200m

Men | Amlan Borgohain ran the race in 20.52 seconds at the Federation Cup 2022 to set a new record.

Women | Saraswati Saha holds the Indian record with a timing of 22.82 seconds , that she achieved at the National Meet in 2002.

400m

Men | Muhammed Anas Yahiya holds the national record with a time of 45.21 seconds in Czech Republic in 2019.

Women | Hima Das holds the record with a timing of 50.79 seconds , that she achieved at the 2018 Asian Games Jakarta

800m

Men | Jinson Johnson holds the record with a time of 1:45.65 minutes achieved in Guwahati, 2018.

Women | Tintu Luka holds the record with a timing of 1:59.17 minutes, that she achieved in 2010 at Split, Croatia.

1500m

Men | Jinson Johnson holds the record with a timing of 3:35.24 minutes which was set in 2019 at Berlin.

Women | Harmilan Bains holds the record with a timing of 4:05.39 minutes achieved in 2021 at Warangal.

5000m

Men | Avinash Sable had clocked 13:25.65 in San Juan Capistrano in 2022 to set the national record.

Women | Preeja Sreedharan holds the record with a timing of 15:15.89, achieved at the 2010 Asian Games

10000m

Men | Surendra Singh holds the national record with a timing of 28:02.89 minutes in Vigo in 2008.

Women | Preeja Sreedharan holds the record of 31:50.47 minutes, achieved at the 2010 Asian Games

110m/100m hurdles

Men | Siddhanth Thingalaya holds the national record with a timing of 13.48 seconds achieved in 2017.

Women | Jyothi Yarraji holds the record with a timing of 13.04 seconds in Vught achieved in 2022.

400m hurdles

Men | Ayyasamy Dharun holds the record of 48.80 seconds achieved at the 2019 Federation Cup in Patiala.

Women | PT Usha holds the record with a timing of 55.42 seconds achieved at the 1984 Olympics

3000m steeplechase

Men | Avinash Sable holds the record with a time of 8:12.48 minutes at the Diamond league meet in Morocco.

Women | Lalita Babar holds the record with a timing of 9:19.76 minutes that she achieved at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

4 x 400m mixed relay

The team comprising Muhammed Anas, M.R Poovamma, Hima Das and Arokia Rajiv are the record holders with a timing of 3:15.17 minutes achieved at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia.

4 × 100m relay

Men | The Indian team of Suresh Sathya, Rahamatulla Molla, A. Qureshi & Shameer Mon, clocked 38.89 to set the national record at the 2010 CWG Delhi

Women | The team of Dhanalakshmi, Archana S, Dutee Chand & Hima Das hold the Indian record with a timing of 43.37, achieved at the IGP IV in 2021.

4 × 400m relay

Men | Team consisting of Muhammed Anas, Noah Nirmal Tom, Amoj Jacob and Arokia Rajiv clocked 3:00.25 minutes at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics , this is also an Asian record.
